We are here at a defining moment in history. A time in which the world as we know it is transforming into something greater than we could ever imagine. We are moving out of a “survival-of-the-fittest” mindset, in which control, competition and winning are king and into a more integrated field grounded in collaboration, contribution, and one in which women are at the forefront…the leaders of the 21st Century.
As such, it’s time for us to shed our old skin, to break through our own self-imposed limitations and stretch beyond what’s safe or familiar. It’s time for us to create new mind-sets, new models, new methodologies as we, who stand at the forefront of this “movement”, consciously create our future.
As women step up as leaders in every industry, on every continent, we are invited to support one another to feel empowered as we lead our teams, spread our message, share our voice from any platform, whether it be directing a boardroom, running a virtual teleclass or leading a session at the U.N.; to use our voices to guide, inspire, educate, train, and motivate. We are the thought leaders of today, and the world must make way, in this new era, for women to take the spotlight.
This is a pivotal time in our evolution and women around the globe are gathering in recognition of the change that is upon us. This conversation is not exclusive, not elitist; it is not reserved for those “more fortunate”. Rather, it is a collective dialogue open to the masses; that transcends all boundaries: demographic, cultural, socio-economic, religious, age and yes, gender.
Women Speakers Association is one such forum spearheading a global discussion about this change. I invite you to participate in this pivotal, creative, generative conversation; and engage in the exploration that is discovering ways for us to support, mastermind, and mentor one another as we, a collective, take a powerful stance in ushering in the voice of the 21st Century woman.
